General idea

live fast, die young and don't run away... ever!

Try to gather 7 EP during the first scenario even if it gets you trauma in order to get 1x Stick to the Plan and 1x Ever Vigilant into your deck (see upgrade plan below).

Set up Stick to the Plan with 1x Ever Vigilant and 2x On the Hunt. Hard mulligan for three playable assets in turn one (either one ally plus two weapons or one ally plus one weapon and Hallowed Mirror). Try using your investigators ability as often as possible. On the Hunt will help with that on turn 2. If you are without a weapon, choose a 1 health enemy if available (preferably some pesky Akolyte because OtH ignores spawn instructions). With Guard Dog in play you could even do something else instead of fighting to finish the enemy and gain that clue. Hallowed Mirror helps you to get that combo going for a while. Other from that mill fast through your deck, especially drawing Cover Up early with Mr. "Rook".

Later in the campaign you go for multiple allys that tutor your precious relics which makes that kickstart with Ever Vigilant most reliable.

What about taboo?
So... what about it? No, seriously! I wanted to give poor Roland a heads up after gotten traumatized so badly last campaign. If you apply the latest taboo, then swap in .45 Automatic for Machete, a second Beat Cop for one Mr. "Rook" and Dr. Milan for the second Mr. "Rook".
