Mark Caught Off Guard

As Mark enters the theatre he can't help but feel naked. Sure, he has his fancy clothes and trench coat, but he didn't have any of his normal arsenal on him. The borrowed suit was just a tad too small to effectively hide his Colt. All he had was his trusty pocket knife stowed in his sock.

Mark takes his seat and tries to enjoy the show. The first act is a bore; why did he even bother to come? Was that "old friend" of Sophie's really to be trusted? Suddenly sleep.

Roughly, Mark awakens in a dead theatre, both literally and figuratively. There is a blood-curtling screen from backstage. Thinking quickly, he raids the usher's corpse and takes the flashlight and cold thermos. Hopefully whatever is sealed inside is still good. With what little he has on him, Mark's instincts take over. Mark has been caught off guard.
