Not sure if this is going to work. Not looking for advice. Trial and error is my friend.

Jun 04, 2020So far so good. I figured I would get resource generation from the upgraded Rogue cards but there have been pressing other things like upgrading the Wards of Protection and picking up a counterspell and the ornate Bow. One game I had two De Luca's in my hand for pretty much the whole game but we were down resources thanks to Yig (it's our first time through and it's grueling). Overall I've had just enough to scrape by on my turns. My friend pointed out that I winnowed most of the "if you succeed a lot, get more" cards out before we even began so Daring Maneuver has already been replaced, which allowed me to adjust something else and pick up a trio of open gates to go with the one our Patrice is running. We used that combo effectively tonight (even though I went mad just before the end on an unlucky encounter pull) but I think Ninjas blinking around still fits the theme. The deck looks like this after 2 games arkhamdb.com |
Okay, honestly, I kind of love this deck. You're definitely playing toward the character's special ability/strengths which is good, and the ninja theme is fantastic. Who wouldn't want that? Honestly this seems like it'd be a pretty effective deck. The only real hiccup is resource generation, especially since Luca is going to be costly. Although, the icons from most of the events might allow you to simply commit them. A skill check passed is one less skill check til the end so it could work. Let us know how it turns out, yeah?
