Diary Entry. Finn Edwards.

Tuesday July 21st, 1925

She left me.

She LEFT me. Me!

I mean, what kind of dame comes all the way back to Arkham after me, just to ditch me?!

Even after I got her fancy relic back - EVEN after I even took her out shopping to that fancy place in Northside - she still went and left me.

And – worse still – for that maniac Anderson!

Speakin' of our grizzly friend, he was even crazier than normal last night – and that’s sayin’ somethin’!

Walking around Arkham with his machete, cutting down scores of creeps and cultists with a mad grin on his face. He didn’t seem to care a jot when my ol’ pal De Luca got killed in the fray. Just wiped the blood off his face and muttered something about having “a spare slot for Mitch now”.

And as for the Padre, well. Capable guy, but jeez. Hell of a sting in his tail. We was getting on famously! Had a lovely little trip to the museum together - second time I've pickpocketed that relic in as many weeks - and he sure saved my bacon when things got a little, ahem, feisty later on. Honestly, it’s like he’s got a direct line to the Big Guy sometimes.

And then last thing, right before we call it a night, he goes haring across Arkham like a man possessed, and stabs the Aztec in the leg!

Of course, Anderson didn’t even seem to care. I’m tellin’ you. He just treats people like they’re disposable sometimes! She’ll see, though. She’ll be sorry.

Still. I’ve got myself a new girlfriend now. Beautiful girl. Irish too, judging by her hair. She ain’t cheap, but – boy – she’s worth it. Just got to keep an eye on her when Mateo’s around with a knife in his hand…
