CONCEPT:
This is all about removing bad stuff from the encounter deck.
Scroll of Secrets & Alyssa Graham allow Gloria to trigger her special ability each turn (as a action) to find and discard monsters or nasty encounter cards like Ancient Evils. This gives the investigators more time to find clues and advance the act.
CLUE HUNTING:
Gloria is well adept to find clues with 4. This is only boosted with Alyssa Graham and St. Hubert's Key. For high shroud locations use Drawn to the Flame, Stirring Up Trouble, Crack the Case, & Connect the Dots.
MONSTER MITIGATION:
Monsters are Gloria's weakness. Finding monsters & discarding them with her special ability is your best bet. Otherwise, Ineffable Truth, Wither, Sword Cane, and Mind over Matter.
Why wither instead of shriveling? I mean, I guess the real question is why not much better seeker cards than these, but the one that stuck to me was why wither instead of shriveling? If she's not fighting that often and ineffable truth is her main way of dealing with monsters, the charges on shriveling aren't really a problem are they?
