This starting deck is designed for multiplayer, allowing Daisy to do what she does best - get clues - while using her mystic cards to deal with monsters and treacheries when no one else is around to help.

Resource Generation: Dr. Milan Christopher - un-taboo gives one resource per successful investigate Burning the Midnight Oil - smack it down for 2 resources Crack the Case - you will be clearing areas, so this is an easy pick

Arcane Enlightenment gives you two extra hands to hold your tomes/Necronomicon, leaving two hands free to wield Magnifying Glass, and later Ancient Stones, as well as extra card spots. Daisy's Tote Bag never shows up when I need it.

Archaic Glyphs upgrades into an Arcane slot, and I took 2 to ensure the successful translation since it has a book icon that can be committed. Shrewd Analysis makes it fun - I could just go for a specific upgrade, but making it random means I get to roll with the punches.

St Hubert's Key is expensive, but perfect for Daisy. Her high horror means she can use it for a long time, and it fixes her bad Wisdom stat AND makes her better at Intellect.

Card Draw: Old Book of Lore - 2 copies to make drawing it more certain. Upgrade path leads to one copy, once card draw improves.

Clue Getting: Deduction - accelerate the grabbing! Shortcut - sometimes you need to be somewhere else, for free.

Cancels/Monster Management: This is where Daisy's deckbuilding shines. All these great cards! Deny Existence Ward of Protection Promise of Power - +4 on ANYTHING, at the low cost of a curse. Fighting a monster? Evading a trap? So useful. Mind over Matter - works the whole round, in case you ever want to spend time doing something other than picking up clues.

Health Management: Logical ReasoningSometimes this can come in clutch on a treachery, and it fixes the horror from Ward of Protection.

Delve Too Deep Always delve. Even having someone die is definitely worth 2 XP.

Upgrade Path: 2 Ancient Stone, depending on which Glyph shows up. Deductions, permanent seeker Shortcut, Library Assistant...
