Sword of the Spirit

Having built a Preston Fairmont deck around the Ornate Bow, it seemed natural to do something similar with the Bow's fellow epic Neutral weapon, Timeworn Brand. Zoey, with her high Combat and Will, was a natural choice to wield this one. Glory, Prepared for the Worst, and Tetsuo Mori were chosen to boost card draw and help Zoey pull out her sword faster. Her Machete and Survival Knife give her something to hack up monsters with if she has trouble finding her weapon of choice, while Evidence! and "If it bleeds..." let her make the most of each kill. Since the Brand and Keen Eye are both resource hogs, Emergency Cache, Cryptic Writings, and Stand Together help keep her well-supplied. Hallowed Mirror helps keep Zoey in the game as long as possible, and a good Shortcut can be a godsend when she feels the urge to Smite the Wicked. NB: This deck is currently untested. I plan to correct that asap, but since I'm in the middle of a campaign, that may not be for a few weeks.
