Level 0 cluever Norman with some flex through occult lexicon & "I've got a plan". Really trying to find Livre d'Eibon and (when upgraded) Astronomical Atlas. Astounding revelation rewards searches with needed resources. Crack the case provides additional economy. Allies search for tomes & Eureka adds even more search. Willpower boosters are in the deck for when he gets more mystic spells later.

Scroll of secrets is to be replaced with better augury-tech later when the tome slot gets assigned to astronomical atlas. It exists to protect Monterey from the willpower treacheries and Norman from enemies. I expect to add ward of protection level 2 to help with this at some point. As Monterey becomes a stronger cluever late-campaign, Norman will take on shriveling to help fight.
