This deck uses Gray's Anatomy + Occult Lexicon combo to deal up to 6 testless damage.
I chose Minh for this deck because she has access to cards that can be played from the discard (A Glimmer of Hope, Winging It, Persistence), which is relevant as we will discard cards with Blood-Rite (and Occult Invocation).
The Raven Quill is another classic piece of the Gray's Anatomy combo: +2 skill value, does not provoque attacks of opportunity and does not take up any slots. The later is particularly important for protection against The King in Yellow (exceeding hand slot limit). Arcane Enlightenment provides the same protection in case the raven does not show up.
Research Librarian fishes out the 2 tomes.
Grisly Totem provides card draw and an additional skill icon which is helpfull on single icon cards (A Glimmer of Hope, Persistence).
Occult Invocation provides an additional option for damage, similar to Blood-Rite although not testless.
