Investigator cards are used out of Night of the Zealot, Dunwich Legacy, Path to Carcosa and The Forgotten Ages.

Upgrades:

  1. I´d take Charisma asap, because Dr. Milan Christopher is needed for our cashflow and Jake Williams is too good not using him.

  2. Pathfinder is such a good card for Ursula. Most of the time the trigger let´s you move at no cost, wich triggers your special ability. You move and investigate for free. I´d switch it with "I've got a plan!", if your teammates can do the fighting. If they can't kill all enemies for you, maybe upgrade Strange Solution first.

  3. Upgrade Strange Solution as needed, probably to Strange Solution.

  4. Upgrade Deduction and Seeking Answers, both cards are so great to get clues fast, if needed.

  5. Switch No Stone Unturned to Cryptic Research, 3 Cards for no cost and no action is too good.

  6. Arcane Insight might be a good choice for some situations. You can help other investigators to get clues, they normally wouldn´t get as easy. If you got 1-2 locations with a shroud level of 4, play and use it.

Informations and combos:

  1. Don´t forget, that Shortcut doesn´t trigger a counter attack.
  2. Don´t forget you can investigate everywhere, even no clue is on the card. That'll be important if you draw Call of the Unknown in the lategame.
  3. If you get Perception early on, don´t be scared to use it and draw a card. After playing out Magnifying Glass and Dr. Milan Christopher, you won´t need it
  4. Fieldwork is a very good card early on, while investigating against shroud level 4 and with Deduction against all level to get clues fast.
  5. You can get 3 easy clues without spending an action. Move with Pathfinder, trigger Fieldwork and use Deduction. With the +2 from Fieldwork you should get the +2 or more succeeds for Deduction to trigger the +2 clues.
