Scenario Plan

Prelude: Welcome to Hemlock Vale

Mulligan

• Use assets and Suzi's to get stats up quickly. Scroll of Secrets, while not fast, is a good option to get some cards into hand

Strategy

• Leave Leah and Simeon Atwood to "Skids" O'Toole (The Old Mill and The Atwood House respectively)
• Spend the 1st turn with The Crossroads and Theo Peters
• Target getting the codices on the right and Judith Park
• Target getting Regurgitation and Magnifying Glass in hand, and Machete in play (can use Tad's General Store to fish it out into play) at the end of the prelude

Day 1: The Thing in the Depths

Strategy

• Leave Dr. Rosa Marquez with "Skids". Suzi is mostly a liability for the first few turns
• Machete and staying at maximum hungry mode is essential in defeating the Thing in the Depths for the achievement Settling the Score

How did things go?
Prelude

• Managed to trigger all codices as "Skids" O'Toole drew into both Nimbles and saved a number of actions.
  Even the pointless Mother Rachel codex.
  Certainly not expecting this without Alessandra Zorzi
• Managed to end the scenario with both investigators well setup.
• Wasn't sure how Ravenous and devoured cards worked when transitioning to the scenario - decided to discard all devoured cards and begin afresh. Will be assuming this for the campaign. Please comment and let me know if I'm wrong here.

The Thing in the Depths

• Intrepid never saw play as I never had a test. Better luck next time.
• Had a glorious turn with Ravenous at full strength, playing 2x End of the Road granting 2 actions to
  Evade the Thing in the Depths
  Fight the Thing in the Depths x4 for a glorious 8 damage.
  "Skids" O'Toole was able to finish it off after with the British Bull Dog and Act of Desperation
• Finished with 7 devoured Seeker cards, next highest being 2 and that's only because of Scroll of Secrets
  May be a problem going forward...
