In preparation for Arkham Con 2025 I have taken it upon myself to make a series of pre-made Standalone decks all with different alt-art treatments. What started with a goal of 3 decks, a flex, cluever, and goon, blossomed into 7 with a range of wild designs. Here is a link to some low res files so you can see what they look like: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J-EYuY12iov-oja2xg88ubVSyOuZRmfr?usp=sharing

Don't forget to check out the other decks, and say hey at Arkham Con if you see me! I might even have a an alt-art surprise for you. ;)

This might be my favorite deck to pilot to date. After playing through the Carcossa campaign with some friends I knew that I needed to build this flex deck to go back to at some point. Preston weirdly is the strongest user of Dark Horse I have ever played, as all his money on Family Inheritance doesn't count for the purposes of Dark Horse. So you can spend like crazy every turn for events/fire axe/mariner's compass. Between that and Geas (always promise not to draw cards during your turn as that is very easy to uphold), you are at a base 3 for every stat. Add in the trio of talented women, it is not uncommon for Preston to be at a 5+ for every stat. Buying clues with Lola and Intel Reports, consistent damage with juiced fire axe and Delilah, and leading enemies around with Gene you have a recipe to handle most anything a scenario can throw at you. You have 7 health and 6 sanity worth of allies, plus 7 of each from Preston so getting taken is out is unlikely. Fun bit of rule interaction, Rise to the Occasion is calculated off of your base (aka printed stats) of 1 for everything, so you will have it online for nearly every test taken. Look What I Found and Lucky are there for insurance while assembling the team. And finally You handle this one is for the stray Mythos card that will absolutely ruin your day (often meaning discarding your allies), so save it in scenarios where you know that is a threat from the mythos deck.

For the art in this one I chose the 2017 Ducktales show. Much like my Indiana Jones deck, this was time intensive often requiring screen shots from episodes I went through frame by frame. It took almost no time though to find relevant images as the majority of the episodes plot lines are not far removed from the Arkham Mythos to begin with. Seriously, after a rewatch it was shocking to me how many of the plots would make for fantastic scenarios. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend. It is a gold standard of what a reboot should look like. Ducktales 1987 walked, so that Ducktales 2017 could run.
