This is a work in progress with the aim to support 'Leo picks a fight (https://arkhamdb.com/deck/view/942840)' and 'Pete looks for clues (https://arkhamdb.com/deck/view/941204)' decks.

I've taken a lot of inspiration from the following Carolyn decks 'A Witch and her Shrink: Carolyn Deck SUPER FUN!', 'Carolyn Fern, Dedicated Healer (multiplayer only)', 'Athletic Psychologist', 'Everybody loves Carolyn (supporting on hard difficulty)'

Things that I am still to figure out:

1) Too many hand assets?

2) Does any on the following cards fit better;

Prophesy

Crack the Case

Old Book of Lore

Deny Existence

Alice Luxley

No Stone Unturned

Dr. Milan Christopher

Ward of Protection

Inquiring Mind

Hallowed Mirror as it might be better than Emergency Aid or First Aid

3) Should the "Shrewd Analysis / Ancient Stone / Ancient Stone" combo be in?

4) Does it need more skills?

I think Alice Luxley or Dr. Milan Christopher would be good in this deck. They both help you get clues, Alice can help out the fighter at your location while DMC helps you pay for your stuff(and you have a lot of stuff.) I'd drop Dynamite Blast and Medical Texts for two copies of one of those allies, you can always pick up Charisma so you can keep Pete + "Whoever" in play. Another side benefit is that Inspiring Presence synergizes with both Luxley and Milan(taboo) so you could trigger their abilities more than once per round if you had the opportunity.

The only other thing I would take a hard look at is Thermos. Just because it is expensive and you wouldn't go wrong with a pair of Deductions or Preposterous Sketches or No Stone Unturneds for more clues or more cards.

Thanks for the comments @Blitzer81. I've never played with Alice Luxley so had overlooked her. Unfortunately this deck was supporting a "Ashcan" Pete deck who was running Dr. Milan Christopher.

We played through Night of the Zealot with the decks listed in the blurb above. This Carolyn Fern deck didn't work particularly well. Expensive Thermos and Dynamite Blast are proabably part of that as you highlighted.

The person playing this deck didn't find it particularly fun to play (probably as some cards were hard to get out and also as it was very supporting waiting for people to get hurt). Some tweaking for next time....
