Sep 30, 2017 StartWithTheName · 67409 Love the deck. Looks nice and rounded. The only thing im unsure about is the Shovel. Auto-clues seem nice, but im guessing that in a lot of high shroud circumstances you could probably just pass an investigate test by throwing pips at it. I guess it covers you for the odd locked door or similar but that seems a little niche for 2 slots. You could just burn a skill card or two to open them on the occasion they pose a problem. If youve got it for combat, might i suggest Fire Axe? with Milan Money you have the option to go high where needed. While the bonus damage might not always be available it never was with the Shovel, Also if you need a second + damage attack Minh has the option to throw in a skill card to get +2 or +3 etc. Its also still scavengable if your looking to prep against encounter cards that cull your assets.

Not sure why I didn't more seriously consider Fire Axe, as the potential extra damage alone makes it better than Gravedigger's Shovel by a mile. I suppose I was perceiving some "new toy" synergy and symmetry - I often make that mistake when deck building. I may correct for this in a future upgrade - because all the clutch fighting can't be done with "I've got a plan!"! Thanks for the feedback! OSG
