Starting out
- get The Necronomicon , commit it once a turn, scavenge
- upgrade Scroll of Secrets, scavenge it once it's done

- get's rid of weaknesses, and once Scavenging is out, discarding items from the bottom is basically just drawing them
- Crack the Case -> Drawing Thin
- upgrade magnifying glass so that I can get rid of used Scroll of Secrets and Archaic Glyphs
- get Yaotl, first investigate commiting The Necronomicon, then second investigate use yaotl, so I over-succeed, and scavenge The Necronomicon back to my hand. If Archaic Glyphs or Deciphered Reality is around, get some extra clues. At this point in the game, I can save my skill cards for my friends.

- Plan of Action -> Cryptic Research
- Knowledge is Power can be used with either The Necronomicon or Archaic Glyphs. Definitely discard them for the extra draw, they can just be scavenged in the next action.
- deduction, perception and unexpected courage
- Scavenging is better, saves actions with Scroll of Secrets
- A Test of Will -> Forewarned
- sealing good tokens with Unrelenting, activating Drawing Thin and committing The Necronomicon gives good odds on 3-shroud locations.
- if horror is a problem from deck milling, get Relic Hunter and Cherished Keepsake, combined with Scavenging means horror isn't a problem anymore
