The Onyx Dreamer

Finally after playing Luke using, traditional mystic setup, curse mystic setup, and the Veteran Testless setup I finally found the true LUKE deck.

This deck does two things and it does them insanely well, testless clues, and actionless actions. The entire concept of this deck is to work in solo player to manhandle any situation that doesn invlove . By using and abusing Luke's gate box AND his Seeker access, we can finally realize the vision of Luke, a king of charges.

Card explanation

1) Scroll of Secrets with taboo is 2 free draws for 1 resource, but it has a hidden advantage. We can look at cards that we would otherwise never get in a scenario AND draw from both ends of the deck, with one end SHOWING US WHATS NEXT!

2) Scrying allows Luke to dodge a ton of nasty enemies, and even some location based treacheries. Spires of Carcosa.

3) Deny Existence, Working a Hunch, Vantage Point are all there for our testless clues. In solo this is how we advance the scenario in multiplayer this deck is a pure support deck. helping people finish off locations.

4) Promise of Power, Blood Pact are where things get spicy, I tried running this deck without them but I hit walls. Any fight action, or investigate action, parley or treachery we cant dodge or cancel is a nightmare to deal with without the traditional asset set-up. So these cards allow us to smoke those situations but they can only be used twice each so be very careful when to use them.

Upgrades

Unlike my previous deck there can be no fun here. The entire build is based around Segment of Onyx and Backpack to tutor them. MULLIGAN FOR BACKPACK.

1) First 5xp is almost always Backpack and Segment of Onyx.

2) Next 3-4xp is either Recharge if we are multiplayer or Blood Pact in single player. (we need guaranteed boosts on critical checks. I'd rather have to force a resign then die by a monster, or fail a critical parley.)

3) Scrying and Shrivelling are here to provide a basic upgrade, likely by scenario 3-5 depending on xp. (USE TESTLESS CLUES TO SECURE VP LOCATIONS).

4) Now we get to choose based on how our campaign is going. A) GREAT! Seal of the Elder Sign for more LOCKDOWN tests, and free charges. B) GOOD! Twila Katherine Price, for those infinite Scrying. C) OK! Stargazing, so we can catch our breath with Scrying/Scroll of Secrets, at low xp. D) TERRIBLE! Atychiphobia, only costs 1xp but provides the hidden benefit of showing the game who's boss.

5) SECRET UPGRADE Summoned Hound. Not recommended on Expert, otherwise another actionless action.
