05/12/2022 - I was always attracted by the concept of protection in every game I played, therefore Diana was an easy pick for me. The idea behind the deck is to draw the encounters and protect your fellow investigators, while they do the hard work of searching for clues.
Diana does a decent job in combat, especially if she has acess to her Twilight Blade and/or Blessed Blade early on, but not so much as a cluever, so a Flashlight and Rite of Seeking helps a lot in that regard.
Try negating threats early on for maximum willpower efficiency and increase in survivability. With each negation she increases her resource and draws from her deck (making the cost/effective for spells really viable) and, consequentialy getting stronger by agressive play.
If you are having trouble with resources, don´t forget your Emergency Cache, although I had little use for them at all since Diana´s power can make your life much easier in that regard.
