Brother Nathaniel! It is time to bear arms against the heretics! Destroy them in the name of the Emperor !

Don your Weapon as soon as you can, because we'll be teleporting you right into the battlefield. You may feel disorientated due to the effects of the warp, so orientate yourself, getting your bearings in those few seconds.

Your Servitors will aid you in this effort further if you require.

Many will be relying on you, so lead them in a manner befitting the Emperor's chosen.

While the techpriests have equipped you with enough firepowerto take down a horde, you'll need to use your initiative and keep watch for the True enemy.

Now blast those xenos scum, rend their guts out and purify this planet, IN THE NAME OF THE EMPEROR!

Love the sci-fi theme. I'd advise against Geared Up with so few item assets. Your odds of getting 3 or more assets on your first round are VERY low.

This deck seems really synergistic and efficient, albeit one dimensional, though I suppose that's all you need. My only questions is why Nathaniel? Literally any other guardian could pull this deck off so why choose an investigator who's ability has no synergy with what the deck is trying to do?

@bernieschlotfeldt You're not wrong. In fact, it will only fire off on backpack for 0 resources, search for 12 cards (lightning gun 1 of them), and then spend all 5 resources playing it. There's really no other viable play that includes cleaning kit. It's the epitome of guardian fighter playing 1 weapon and then just ready to go. I kind of thought the first round no action related as if having warp disorientation after teleportation without terminator armor in warhammer universe. Not too brushed up on the lore, but I just thought it made sense there.

@cabalpaxiarch Any guardian can pull this off, and maybe even better. But I just thought Nathaniel being the starter Guardian was the symbol of the faction, echoing off ultramarine blue, and also not being terribly smart (but very strong). I wasn't specifically after synergy, in fact I admittedly consider this deck too gross to play. Unless after expert, the numbers are just too high for any tension left in normal arkham. I'll never play this because it doesn't interest me to answer whether or not this deck can win. I like playing suboptimal janky combo decks that may or may not win. I know I won't have much fun playing this deck. Writing the description though... was extremely fun! I loved making thematic ties. That said, no judgement on anyone who wants to play this deck to purge xenos scum in the name of the emperor!
