Scenario Plan
The Longest Night
Mulligan
- Machete. Again. Need a better weapon.
- Also Lucky Cigarette Case (3).
Strategy
- Can complete the Bear Necessities achievement if I can control getting the Fire! to the West. Odds are good, with Milkhouse and Coop (2 of 5 Atwood Farm locations) on 2 spots, for a 90% chance (if my math is right)
- Target for Transfiguration William Yorick as there are many enemies in this scenario
- Targeting a finish with either Guardian or Seeker as Mystic card count dangerously low - looking to purchase either Brand of Cthugha (4) or Divination (4). Or Rogue in a pinch for Blur (4)
Scenario Notes
How did things go?
- Started on Milkhouse in the West. Promptly spent the 1st turn setting things on Fire!.
- Early Lucky Cigarette Case (3) was instrumental in getting Transfiguration (2) on round 5 - William Yorick with +4 to all stats is no joke.
On hindsight, Kymani Jones might have been a better pick as many of the enemies are Aloof or reduce the damage dealt to them to 1/attack. - Getting Ajax and running around leading the bear on a merry chase - slow, but critical for Bear Necessities
- Uncanny Specimens turned out to be just dead draws in this scenario as I didn't need to feed the hangry once I became Yorick
- End of the Road is just pure value in this scenario
- Transfiguration meant it was really easy to control what's left in the devoured pool (as long as you have a Regurgitation ready). Finished with 2 Guardian and 2 Survivor cards highest (only 4 devoured cards, 2 of which are multi-class)
