Clue-getting to the max

Lucius has remarkable synergy around managing enemies to lead to huge clue-getting.

If all the pieces of this deck get into play, your turns become absurd.

First action: Evade an enemy with Blur, using String Along to draw a card and Pickpocketing for another card and resource and net one clue. Put a resource on Microscope. (note: Blur has given you one extra action.)

Free actions:

By now, you're probably at another location (either via Eon Chart's move, Nimble or Hiking Boots.

Second action:: Confound the enemy you just dragged along for another 2 clues (total 7)

Third/Fourth action (thank you Leo De Luca): Use your loaded Microscope for another 4 clues (total 11)

Free actions again: Working a Hunch for a 12th clue.

Fifth action (thanks to the free action from Blur): By this point, you're free to do whatever you want. Investigate again, sure, or play Grift to recharge your resources for when your deck cycles (because Underworld Support makes your deck super thin.

Setting up

Mulligan hard for String Along, Pickpocketing and Microscope. That will help you draw cards quickly and find the rest of the pieces.

Other considerations

  • This deck takes a while to get setup and is quite expensive, hence the resource cards (Kicking the Hornet's Nest, Grift, etc). I took this deck through Edge of the Earth so also had Takada Hiroko who was super helpful.
  • British Bull Dog is only in here because the team struggled a bit handling enemies. I never used it.
  • Misdirection is an odd one. I used it once to good effect. I think the card would be amazing in solo.
