Some of the main ideas of this deck are to to use Custom Grip with Remington Model 1858 to get free shots when they leave play.
After upgrading to Remington Model 1858 •••• you can use Tommy Muldoon's ability to bring it into play with extra ammo and a free shot (two if you pay for the ability's cost by discarding a copy of Remington Model 1858 in play), which then triggers an attack of opportunity, which in turn triggers Service Revolver.
Tommy Muldoon's ability also works well with the M1918 BAR, enabling two damage 5 shots with the extra ammo.
