Jim Culver performs at New Orleans (DttF Contest)

Dear Olive,

I need help and you’re the only one I can talk to about this. You and I share knowledge about things that would better be left in the dark.

As you know, I’m currently performing in New Orleans. It has gone pretty well until recently. Not that people dislike my music but they don’t go out so easily now. Something is worrying them.

I read in the newspapers there were killings in the surroundings and that people were talking about curses and werewolves. The author don’t give credit to these « voodoo ravings » as he writes but I have the feeling something odd is at work.

I can’t go alone, I need your help. All my investigations tend to confirm my darkest fears and all my anwers now reside in the Bayou. I got myself a flashlight and a machete but I’m affraid it would be no help against what we might find in there.

Meet me at the Jazz club as soon as you can. With people getting more and more nervous, it has become difficult to practice the spells you taught me. If I get caught doing arcane incantations I will be charged for all those killings.
