Mulligan for economy first, ideally Lone Wolf, and Wendy's Amulet second.

Resources are key to this deck. Use Lone Wolf, Take Heart, and Emergency Cache to get them.

You want to avoid combat as much as possible, using Track Shoes. Later you can upgrade your ability to avoid and control enemies with the Wendy's Amulet/Lure combo. Nab clues with "Look what I found!" or Lucky! in a pinch.

For combat, in a pinch you can use Backstab by itself but if you can pump it with Double or Nothing, you can smack something for 4 damage in one action. Use Hard Knocks to make sure you clear the check. You can also use the Fire Axe and Hard Knocks if you're suffering an excess of resources. You can also kill big non-elites pretty handily with Waylay.

Once your Wendy's Amulet is in play, if you find yourself stuck needing an event that's on the bottom of your discard, use Resourceful to get what you need. Remember that you can use your Track Shoes for the skill check.

If you are just sitting on your Wendy's Amulet don't be afraid to commit it, as you can get it back with Scavenging. Same goes for the damage from your Lantern.
