Rite of Seeking can be swapped with Azure Flame depending on which side you're flexing at the beginning of campaign.
Grotesque Statue is the next priority as it allows the deck to get more consistent and can be bounced with Spirit-Speaker.
The upgrade path goes as follows:
1 Painkillers + 1 Emergency Cache -> Spirit Athame (1) 2xp
Rite of Seeking -> Grotesque Statue (2) -> Grotesque Statue (4) 6xp/10xp
Clairvoyance -> Clairvoyance (3) 16xp
Shrivelling -> Shrivelling (3) 22xp
Ward of Protection -> Ward of Protection (2) 26xp
Fine Clothes -> Robes of Endless Night (2) 30xp
Not sure how necessary the Robes are with Uncage in the deck, but they offer some more economy and better Health protection. The ability to play your Spell assets without taking AOO can also be great in a pinch.
If you have more leftover xp, you can always upgrade your spell assets.
