This deck is decommissioned, because it didn't perform well. Finally I used this version: https://arkhamdb.com/deck/view/640921
Based on Djangos deck. Switch Dr Milan Christopher to Dario El-Amin, if your Seeker uses it.
Planned upgrade path:
- 1xp Charon's Obol - optional
- 2xp 2x Unexpected courage -> 2x Lockpick
- 3xp Dr Milan Christopher -> Lola Santiago
- 4xp Perception -> Skeleton Key
- 3xp Streetwise
- 3xp Dr Milan Christopher -> Lola Santiago
- 1xp Adaptable
- Narrow Escape -> Lucky
- Narrow Escape -> Rabbit's Foot
- 3xp Knife -> Lupara
- 2xp Pickpocketing -> Pickpocketing(2)
- 3xp Quick Thinking -> Ace in the Hole
- 2xp Pickpocketing -> Pickpocketing(2)
- 4xp 2x Sneak Attack -> 2x Sneak Attack(2)

I think Knife is a weak pick for Finn. I think something like .41 Derringer or Switchblade would better suit him. I am also curious why you are bringing one Backpack and one Trench Coat? I'm also somewhat curious that you don't seem to have a lot of answers to treacheries. What do you do when you get Frozen in Fear? For comparison, here is a decklist for Finn I am currently running through The Forgotten Age. As far as your upgrade path: I'd grab Adaptable early, that way it's better (you usually only have 8 scenarios in a campaign, sounds like your group might play slightly differently though). I wouldn't drop the Unexpected Courage for Lockpicks: Unexpected Courage is quite good in Finn and I think there are a lot of cards you could cut before it (Backpack, Trench Coat, Knife). |
Dec 21, 2018As you can see, I took the Scavenging rout. The problem with a Scavenging builds, that it needs items in the discard pile to work. Knife is questionable for most builds, but if you could get it back to your hand from discard, it is better then a Switchblade. Also, I don't like the 0xp Derringer or Switchblade. Later I would rather buy a Lupara instead. Backpack is good to get items and Supply Cache in the first few rounds or discard it to a skilltest and get it back with Scavenging. The Trench coat gives you a static skill boost and some damage protection, which is useful. Also it puts the Backpack to the discard pile. I would handle Frozen in Fear and similar cards with Lucky or pass it to the mystic with You handle this one!. I don't like Logical Reasoning, because it's only good against one card. |

Is this deck designed for a particular campaign or investigator amount?
