Make room for Deny Existence if you own The Circle Undone as it's better than Ward of Protection.
Plan to spam Blood Pact during the turn before an unavoidable Agenda advance. Otherwise try not to use it unless you're confident you can clean it up with a Moonlight Ritual or end the scenario before the Agenda advances. It's possible to get two consecutive rounds of consequence free Doom spam if an ally uses The Gold Pocket Watch to skip the Mythos phase.
Grotesque Statue is a priority due to its ability to prevent the backfire effects when casting Rite of Seeking before your last action, or when casting Shrivelling, unless you'd like to use the horror damage to take out an Arcane Initiate before their doom token advances the agenda.
Use Spirit-Speaker primarily to return cards to hand. This provides additional opportunities to utilize Uncage the Soul and Akachi's passive ability, and ensures Akachi does not run out of charges.
Torrent of Power is better reserved to save allies than as a self-cast.
To shore up evasion in the initial deck consider replacing Flashlight or Torrent of Power with Manual Dexterity or Blinding Light. Arcane Studies and Drawn to the Flame are also targets for substitution.
