My attempt at a Sefina deck which was much harder than I thought it was going to be. I was wondering if it were possible to make a deck that did not use shriveling and instead banked on her ability to purely evade everything while using the mystic sub class in a more support role. Use Flashlight and Rite of Seeking to investigate and dodge everything else. Backstab and Sneak Attack are there for the occasional instances were you'll need to do damage. Use your abundant resources through Alchemical Transmutation, Emergency Cache and Lone Wolf to pump Arcane Studies and Hard Knocks and eventually Streetwise. Don't forget to duplicate your events with The Painted World. Thoughts?

I'm not sold on Blinding Light in Sefina. The main benefit is that it enables mystics to evade with their willpower, which is normally higher than their agility. Sefina's willpower and agility are equal, so you are paying 2 resources, an action and a card for a chance to deal 1 damage plus the possibility of losing another action.

I think you may be right now that you put it that way. I was thinking of using it to combo off sneak attack so you could get 3 damage off of it. Rogue decks have been difficult to build because they don't seem to do any one thing well. What do you suggest would work better? Probably drawn to the flame might be a better fit?

Yeah Drawn to the Flame seems really strong as Sefina's stronger stats are the ones tested most by the encounter deck. I also like Arcane Initiate so you can search through your deck and grab the Painted World. I like the idea of a Sefina deck filled with spell events and initiates so she basically gets a free draw a turn. She then uses rogue events and assets to generate the cash to pay for them.

Don't play Alchemical Transmutation, it's a trap. Use Forbidden Knowledge instead, as it can't fail and the mad painter has sanity to spare. Mystic deck also has Fearless, if you run low on sanity (or use Elder Sign Amulet, it's great to commit and boost your ).

Did you consider Switchblade II for cheap mosnters (1-2 HP and low )?
