A Phantom of Truth Second Impressions and Tips:
It’s the first scenario where there are noticeable differences between for those who gathered more Doubt and those who gathered more Conviction. I think the Conviction variant is a bit easier, since solo Jenny can handle it with Streetwise alone. On the other hand, the Doubt variant can normally be finished faster. Unusually, gathering clues is optional in the Conviction version, but it’s still worth doing for emergency test-less evasions and extra XP from locations. Clean run through the Doubt variant requires 5 clues, which conveniently is the exact number of clues placed on Victory locations in solo. As in the previous scenario the map is extensive and at the same time more interconnected and with in-built transportation meaning that the order of visiting locations doesn’t matter too much. Torturous Chords can cause problems, especially if drawn earlier in the scenario and coupled with tokens.
