This is my first attempt at a Joe Diamond build, paired with Diana Stanley. I want to emphasize investigating over fighting, but I still want to be able to hold my own when necessary. Joe has enough searching (Backpack, No Stone Unturned, Eureka!) and card draw for me to feel comfortable running just two weapons and two "emergency button" cards ("I've got a plan!").
Shortcut and "I've got a plan!" are intended to be in my deck proper, not my hunch deck.
I want to use the Detective's Colt 1911s to be able to keep my tools (Fingerprint Kit and Magnifying Glass) on hand to use as necessary. I mean to use the backpack to get them on hand, then play them using resources gained via Milan. After building up my board state, I intend to switch to Venturer to keep all my cards topped off with ammo and supplies.
My absolute first upgrade is going to be Charisma, followed by Hyperawareness and No Stone Unturned to help keep my deck running consistently. I also plan to go for:
- Emergency Cache
- Bandolier
- Eidetic Memory
- Ever Vigilant
- Strange Solution (I'm okay with one of this and a random one)
