Hello investigators!
This is my current build for Solo Zoey.
Pros

Card choices
Her ability to investigate is the main weakness of Zoey in solo game.Rite of Seeking and Flashlight are the main tools for low shroud locations while Drawn to the Flame, Scene of the Crime and Evidence! are used to grab clues from high shroud locations.
On the Hunt: This card enables some nasty combos. Try to play when Zoey's Cross is on the game or combine it with Scene of the Crime when you wanna steal these 2 clues from a high shroud location.
Lone Wolf is already a staple for every solo game making viable to play Dynamite Blast on the late game.
Now for the thematic part of the deck: 2x Machete, 2x Survival Knife are there to chop every enemy into small pieces. Bandolier provides the slot for your 2nd Survival Knife to get the maximum effect while the enemy tries to hurt you.
If you have spare xp during the game you can always go for a 1x Machete 1x Lightning Gun and change Unexpected Courage for 2x Extra Ammunition.
Key of Ys is an important upgrade during scenarios. You can remove 1x First Aid to add it. If you afraid that will confict with Zoey's Cross then add 1x Relic Hunter.
Opening Hand Mulligan hard for: Machete or keep Prepared for the Worst to search for it.
Flashlight or Rite of Seeking for the investigation tests.
Lone Wolf for cash flowing.
I like the theme. If you have room...consider splashing Elusive. You don't have to be fighting to use the mobility effect and given Zoey's weakness...it's a good hole card.
