Gimmick deck: a Guardian who doesn't want to engage. The Blackjack and the Springfield are among the least loved cards, partly because Guardians are used to taking all engagements. So here's a deck that doesn't want to engage. The more players to take engagements, the better. This will be much more viable (though not good by any means) when we get the upgraded Bandolier and Blackjack.
He doesn't work very well as the sole fighter, but if two players want to be Guardians, having one take all the unpopular cards will help avoid card shortages.
Venturer was meant to keep the Springfield loaded, but a damage-dealing ally would probably be better.
Be sure to put Prepared for the Worst on Stick to the Plan. This deck is very rough if you don't have the Springfield M1903 out.
Could also try this with Leo, who could take Stealth, another unpopular card, though he's still terrible at using it. Zoey could take Stealth and Survival Instinct both, but she prefers engaging.

I agree that Scene of the Crime is a little out of place, and your suggestions are good ones. Incidentally, I ran this with Minh Thi Phan in The Eternal Slumber. I figured they'd pair well since they both work best when with someone else. He did okay except that I didn't use Prepared for the Worst and didn't draw the Springfield M1903 until very late. |

The .45 Automatic has an agility icon which is useful, but it's likely to clash with a competing Guardian deck for that card I suppose. With Mark Harrigan the .32 Colt might be something to consider - either might do in a pinch until you buy/draw the Springfield M1903. Dynamite Blast, while pricey, is something that comes to mind for this deck as well actually. Cool deck anyway. |

Love the concept - not only is it fun to try and make the off-beat cards work, it's also practical in Arkham if you're sharing cards!
