Introduction: Really want to make Rita work, and we have quite a bit more available now to do that then when she first came out. I'll be taking something similar to this through RtTFA soon.

Deck definitely needs playtesting and I'd love some feedback. Gamplay expectations and a first draft of upgrades is below.

Gameplay: Basic idea is evade (or agility) for every test you can, and testless or huge boosts whenever you can't.

Early setup tries to get out that Ornate Bow as soon as possible so enemies are easily handled. Resource and draw management is probably best done with Drawing Thin, though Easy Mark could be a pretty cheap 5xp saving substitute.

Clues happen through events mostly, but Gravedigger's Shovel in early games for a few extra snags as needed. Between Belly of the Beast, "Look what I found!", and Pilfer you can snag clues fairly easily, and slotting in Perception -> Sharp Vision instead of some fighting capability can work well if you already have damage dealers on your team. (Definitely should slot in extra clue handling if going solo. )

Overall goal - MOVE. Jump from place to place leaving exhausted or eliminated enemies while snagging clues as often as you can. Works best with a fairly mobile cluever (which should be easy enough since so many can take Pathfinder).

Upgrade Priority:

High:

  1. Fire Axe/Gravedigger's Shovel -> Ornate Bow (Depending on if you want damage or clues as a backup)
  2. Unexpected Courage -> Cornered
  3. "Look what I found!" -> "Look what I found!"
  4. Take Heart + 1x Sneak By -> Easy Mark OR keep the Sneak By and do 2x Drawing Thin

Medium:

  1. Lucky! -> Lucky! -> Lucky!
  2. Charisma
  3. Peter Sylvestre -> Peter Sylvestre
  4. Tennessee Sour Mash -> Tennessee Sour Mash
  5. Brute Force and/or Sharp Vision need to fit in here somewhere, but it's going to have to get sorted after some playtesting. Right now I'm thinking they could replace either Fire Axe or Gravedigger's Shovel after the upgrade to Ornate Bow.

Low:

  1. Pilfer -> Pilfer
  2. Waylay -> Flare (Not often you're going to defeat non-elite 4+ health enemies with this, and Flare gives you the option to search for an ally if you need the soak or perks.

Sideboard:

  1. ??? -> A Test of Will
  2. Déjà Vu - if you're using your exiles enough
  3. Will to Survive - I LOVE this card, but I'm not sure we've got the room/need for it in this deck yet.
  4. Survival Instinct -> Survival Instinct - This can combo pretty cool with "I'm done runnin'!" and/or on Rita Young, but without those to combo from it's not much of an improvement for 4xp.
  5. Expeditious Retreat instead of Survival Instinct? It's cheaper but not quite as good mobility wise.
  6. Unexpected Courage somehow?
  7. Slip Away -> Slip Away if that becomes more important than other evade benefits.
