This is a thematic deck I played recently for Hemlock Vale, which focuses on recurring allies from the graveyard (mainly Creature allies). The deck functions great right off the bat and became a real beast as the campaign progressed. It's strongest feature is that you're nearly unkillable to monsters thanks to the high amount of damage his creatures can soak. It's probably not the most optimal build, but it was a ton of fun and very thematic with the strange wildlife of the Hemlock campaign.

Upgrades are in the side deck. As you upgrade the deck with more creatures and allies, the Schoffner's Catalogue and Backpack become very poor cards in the deck, so I replaced them pretty quick. My upgrades were...

The optimal starting hand was usually 1 Machete, at least two combat-oriented allies (like Grete Wagner or Guard Dog), and then a couple of utility skills/events. Some scenarios, you'll end up weaponless at the start since this deck runs very few of them. But, so long as you have your dogs/vicious blows/ice picks in your opening hand, you can usually just kill a weak enemy and dig a machete out of your discard pile thanks to Short Supply. Use Mysterious Raven and Augur whenever you need to support your clue-gathering allies, but otherwise have fun ripping and tearing through monsters with your pack of undead furry friends.
